I Am A 47 Year Old Female Living On The

I am a 47 year old female living on the Navajo Reservation. I have 4 children all grown. I had all natural births and now experiencing pain with my period. The first two day are heavy flow and my cramps feel like contractions. I have had a ultrasound n I have small fribrodes in my uterus. I am planning on going in and seeing a obgyn. Is this big change cause I am getting older or because I am overweight??
