I Am A 49-year-old Male In Good Health. My Urinalysis

I am a 49-year-old male in good health. My urinalysis results showed "occult blood 2+" on two successive tests done within a week. All other measurements taken during a urinalysis were normal and I am asymptomatic. I have never had any problems with UTIs or with my kidneys, prostate and bladder. My internist said this is probably worth checking out with a urologist, but I am nervous. There is a history of cancer in my family (my mother died of breast cancer) and my dad had an early stage esophageal tumor surgically removed last year. I've been through a lot trying to manage my parents' conditions, and I'm worried about myself as I approach 50. Can you provide any insight?
