I Am A 49 Year Old Male With A Father

I am a 49 year old male with a father who has been undergoing PSA testing for about 10 years, no cancer but fluctuating PSA levels. I have just gotten a PSA test result initially of 4.6 after one month course of antibiotic, I had another PSA of 3.0 My Urologist recommends a biopsy. Can you give me any advice on what type of Biopsy I should request? My father recommended a 12 point?
