I Am A 49 Yr Old Female And For Months

I am a 49 yr old female and for months now i have had a red smooth/dry feeling itchy rash on my neck extending from left to right sides with it mostly being in the front. It's is driving me nuts. A few months ago my boyfriend went to the doctor and was diagnosed with impentigo and staph on his genitals and anus. My 17 year old daughter also was diagnosed last week with staph under her arm and we thought it was a spider bite. Boyfriend has some Mupirocin ointment 2% can I use this on my neck for relief?
