I Am A 50 Yo White Male With Previous History

I am a 50 yo white male with previous history of tobacco use (dipping 17 years and sporadic cigarette smoking over 30 years). In recent months, I have developed a stabbing pain in my throat when I hiccup, cough, or sometimes when I swallow. I often sweat at night recently just from my neck and upper chest even though the air conditioning is set low. I have frequent headaches and neck aches, especially at night. Two months ago after a coughing episode brought on by a high pollen count ( I am allergic to the local pine trees), I coughed up a small amount of bright red blood, but not sputum, just out of my throat. Something just doesn't feel right, but I don't have an emergency reason to go to the doctor because of it.
