I Am A 50 Yr Old Female. This Morning While

I am a 50 yr old female. This morning while driving to work I began to have several pain in my stomach. In the center, right below my rid cage. The pain was so bad I had to stop driving and get out of my car several times. I got through the day kinda OK. But when I sit and apply any type of pressure in that area it hurts. It's a very sharp pain in my STOMACH. this evening I am sitting with the same pain and researching what it might be.
