I am a 52 yr old female, overweight, but pretty active. I am on my feet entirely, for my job. Some days standing long periods, and other days walking the entire time. Havent had any trouble before. Just recently, the calf on my left leg has become swollen, and tight to the touch. My left foot, has also swelled some, and is painful to walk on at times. There is NO discoloration, or heat, on my calf, just swollen, and tight! Over 25 years ago, I had a DVT, in my groin, when I was pregnant, and had to have heparin shots until the baby was born, and then Coumadin for 3 months after. I have been checked periodically to make sure there was nothing back from that, and it has always been ok. Besides losing weight, (which I am working on), is there anything else that I should be doing to help the swelling go down? I do try to soak my feet in Epson salt a couple times a week, and elevate my legs( when I relax in the evenings). Thank you for your time! Ramona
