I Am A 54 Year Old Healthy Female. I've Been

I am a 54 year old healthy female. I've been on Protonix for acid reflux for approximately 15 years. In the past few months, my reflux has been out of control and I've been supplementing with Zantac as well as Tums. My family has a history of stomach and colon cancer. My Gastroenterologist has scheduled a Manometry Study for next week and an endoscopy for September. Is the Manometry study necessary if I'm going to have the endoscopy in September anyway?
