I Am A 55 Year Old Male, I Am Experiencing

I am a 55 Year old Male, I am Experiencing some pain on the left side of the lower abdomen. I went to the Va. they checked for a Hernia. Dr was Pretty sure it is not a Hernia. Thank You. It is located a little lower than the belly button, about belt line.
