I Am A 56 Year Old Healthy Woman Taking On

I am a 56 year old healthy woman taking on HRT. I had a bad headache for the 2 weeks. (I rarely have headaches.) It fluctuated in intensity, but one night I could not sleep because my head hurt. My husband was rubbing my head and I noticed the top left side was tender. He found some bumps that feel bruised. Just wondering if this is fine. I have read that we all have lumps and bumps on the skull.
