I Am A 56 Year Old Male In Better Than

I am a 56 year old male in better than average health. Since adolescence I have experienced occasional feelings of well-being with a slight detachment from the moment followed by some confusion. There has never been a problem with this until 18 months ago when I lost consciousness, falling to the floor and out for a minute or so. Since then I have lost consciousness ten separate occasions, two times I was taken to the hospital. I'm being treated by my Dr. for seizures with Vim-Pat but the episodes keep reoccurring more frequently. My question is regarding to the feeling of well-being and detachment preceding loss of consciousness. I understand the extreme confusion following the episodes. I appreciate your time and help.
