I Am A 57 Yowhite Female. 3 Years Ago I

I am a 57 yowhite female. 3 years ago I suffered a SAH (sub achronoid hemorrhage. I was very lucky and have no residual affects or restrictions. Today my gym physician put me on Raloxifene HCL 60 mg/1 per day due to results of a recent bone density scan. I asked about side effects and reminded him of the SAH, he said this medication cannot be taken if hx of blood clot or stroke. Is this safe?
