I Am A 58 Yr Old Female. I Had Shingles

I am a 58 yr old female. i had shingles approx 2 yrs ago , a moderate case according to my dr and have had some tenderness and touch sensitvity over the rib cage every since. Nothing that required medication other than some motrin. In the past 3 days i have begun expereincing significant burning and sharp pain in the same area. No rash. Can I have a flare up of the pain without any rash ?
