Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 59 year old male. I have an 8 day hike in Utah coming up in 2 weeks. I have been training for 4 months. 40-50 miles per week hiking . Have lost 25 pounds during this time with a 1600 -2000 calorie per day diet. My blood pressure ranges from 127/75 before exercise to 106/65 and higher after exercise. My pulse resting is 56-65. Under uphill hiking and 14mph biking in the high 130 to 140's. I am currently taling 5 mg of enalapril. Are these numbers too low for my age?
