I Am A 60 Year Old Male. The Previous Day

I am a 60 year old male. The previous day I visited my urologist as part of an ongoing treatment for high PSA and enlarged prostate. He told me that after a year of decreasing PSA and shrinking prostate, my PSA has shot up to my highest ever, 8+. He attributed it to some infection, probed my prostate (ok), and gave me a prescription to deal with infection, and then see him in 6 weeks. Anyway, I picked up the prescription today. About 2 hours before I took the first dose, I felt warmth in the region of my bladder and prostate, and more recently up in my head. I took my temp, but no fever. So, is this all about an infection in my prostate, or could it be something else?
