Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 62 year old woman, 5 foot 9 inches and 145lbs..I have been diagnosed for RA and psoriatric arthritis..my blood pressure stays in normal range but can jump to 200/159 for no reason. I work retail and am on my feet all day..my feet and legs swell and it is painful. Today mu legs and feet are so swollen I can barely walk, I had a stabbing pain an hour ago that never happened before near my left shoulder blade..my hands keep going to sleep and now an achey mild pain is running up and down my left arm and my left hand is going numb as I type. My back is in more pain than usual..I am out of my Meloxicam and think maybe that is the pain problem. I feel a headache coming. My concern is the swelling and don't know what to do..I have been told I have possibly lymphedema but am not being treated for it.
