I Am A 63 Yr. Old Woman. I Have Had

I am a 63 yr. old woman. I have had the flu for the past 6 1/2 days. Went to see my Dr. today and she took my vitals like 4 times; my pulse is running 120. She ask me if I knew it was that high? I didn't. However she wants me to not move around much, not be doing much; said it may continue to rise and I could run into a problem. Said it should be like 60. Really scared me.. What is your opinion? She put me on an antibiotic & cough syrup at present; go back to see her Friday. Thank you; Mary
