I Am A 65-year-old Male Just Had A Catheter Taken

I am a 65-year-old male just had a catheter taken out today they did not tell me anything about when I should start urinating on my own but my main concern is when I got home from the doctors office there was bleeding And a couple of blood clots it's still seeping blood and I have not urinated yet it's been about four hours since the removal I did not have surgery is this something the bleeding to be very concerned about even just sitting or laying it seeps blood can you help me
