I Am A 65 Yr Old Woman Who Was Just

I am a 65 yr old woman who was just dx with mastoiditis. My question is could this have occurred from a tooth extraction which dentist broke jaw and refused to fix stating it will heal in a year . It's been since June and now have ear and bad headaches. Had Mri which found the mastoiditis and since never had ear problems since I was 6 . Since jaw break is on same side wondered if all that bacteria caused the mastoiditis and what to do?
