I Am A 66 Year Old Female. Five Years Ago

I am a 66 year old female. Five years ago my colon ruptured. After 2 surgeries it was repaired. Last year my surgeon did 2 colonoscopies which he was unable to finish because I did not evacuate my bowels enough . I did complete my prep. The second time I was npo for 2 days and still unable to complete it. This year I learned I have scleraderma and have had digestive issues. Who should I go to try again. The surgeon that removed some of my colon, or a GI doc. Will the GI doc have trouble figuring out where my colon is now?
