I Am A 66 Year Old Male With No Significant

I am a 66 year old male with no significant health problems other than high blood pressure which I take medication for. Recently had a upper GI scope with all normal results. From time to time I get a pain in the mid chest area near the sternum....no other symptoms. When this occurs I drink a glass of cold water and the pain goes away. Do you know what could cause this?
