I Am A 68 Year Old Female Who Was Diagnosed

I am a 68 year old female who was diagnosed with stage 1A, grade 3 endometrial cancer. I have had surgery and radiation. I am now cancer free. I am to have chemo (Carboplatin/Taxol), my question is due to the possible side effects is it necessary to have the Chemo?
