I Am A 68 Year Old Female With Osteopenia (hips

I am a 68 year old female with osteopenia (hips and back) and osteoporosis in my wrists. I started taking a different calcium/magnesium supplement two weeks ago and have had an upset stomach and intermittent stomach pain ever since. My doctor has ordered an ultrasound of my gall bladder on Monday. Is it possible the calcium is causing my distress?
