I Am A 69 Year Old, I Would Say Healthy

I am a 69 year old, I would say healthy male. Lately I have seen a propensity to develop blood spots particularly on my forearms; I thought it may have been from bumping them but I'm not so sure they don't just surface. I have two on my left arm now, one about 3/8" oblong, the other an 1/8" spot. Is this normal or should I see my doctor about these?
