I Am A 69 Year Old Woman Who Works In

I am a 69 year old woman who works in an elementary school. Last week I had blood drawn for pancreas tests which were normal. My doctor scheduled a CAT scan for last Friday which I had to cancel because on Thursday I developed a cough which was compulsive. Through the weekend it worsened with thick mucous and coughing bat night preventing sleep. I stayed home from work Monday, but returned on Tuesday and Wednesday even though I felt bad. I stayed home today because I'm exhausted. I have pancreas divisum which has been treated by an sphincterotomy, but I suffered my third case of pancreatitis less than 2 months ago, so I guess my immune system is compromised. I'm not sure if going to the doctor will be necessary, or if this will clear up soon. My coughing s still producing much mucous. I'll go to the doctor for a $20 co-pay
