I Am A 69 Year Old Women And Have Been

I am a 69 year old women and have been told my uterine lining is 11mm thick. I have no syptoms. I just had a endometrial biopsy (no results yet). Doctor said she could get little from the lining which was a good sign.
Is this necessarily a signal for endometrial cancer or what else could it be?
