I Am A 70 Yr Old Women Who Has Suffered

I am a 70 yr old women who has suffered with atrial fibrillation and had a very mild stroke but a stroke about 10 years ago none the less. I saw a new doctor who is an Orthopedic doc that I sought his help since I broke my hip in 2016 and since have had severe pain in both hips along with Sciatic Nerve pain all down my leg. I hurt horribly 24/7 and want to try anything to be somewhat normal again. He recommended Meloxicam. I just want to know if taking 3 Avil will do the same ?
