I Am A 71 Year Old Who Had A Hysterectomy

I am a 71 year old who had a hysterectomy when I was 48. Tonight as I was showering I noticed there was a protrusion as if something was coming out of my vagina. I have no particular symptoms, discomfort or pain but wondered if this is something I should have checked.
