I Am A 71 Year Old Woman, In Very Good

I am a 71 year old woman, in very good health with no apparent health problems except for hair loss. I have just started taking propecia. My TSH is within normal limits,1.28. Should I have a further test to check my thyroid? I was looking at the symptoms of hypothyroidism online & it would seem to me that almost any woman over 65 would have some of those symptoms.
