I Am A 72 Yrs. Old Female In Good Health,

I am a 72 yrs. old female in good health, very active and love life. After several traumatic situtations in my life I started with anxiety. Being a mother of 5 and always in the position of making things happen and fixing issues...My problem started appx. 10 yrs ago when situations arose that I could not fix or find a solution to. It would stay on my mind continuously, interfered w/sleep and kept me in an agitated. Noise bothers me,IE screaming kids in store, repetitive news that my significant other listens all the time, etc. When under pressure I lash out.. My PCP started me on Citalopram which seemed to work well but I started having tremors and excessive bruising on my arms. Dr. started me on Wellbutrin 75 mg 2Xda but I am not depressed and the agitation seems to be worse.. The only other meds. I take are Lisopril 40, Levethroxin .88mg. How do I decide on an effective drug? Is it all trial and error?
