I Am A 75 Yrs Old Man And Taking Medicine

I am a 75 yrs old man and taking medicine for high blood pressure for the last about 10 years . the daily dosage: nicardia retard 1-0-1 and tozar 50, 0-0-1. About a month back and,I developed heavy head, dizziness, imbalance while walking, frequent urination and slight head ache at noon . My doctor asked me to continue with same pattern of treatment. But it gives me lot of uneasiness ,pain and frequent urination, disturbing sleep., When I stoped the medicine for two days ,I felt free from all the complaints. My blood pressure records 120/80 for the last many months. Can I either stop the treatment or reduce the dosage or strength of present medicines?
