I Am A 77 Year Old Male Taking 5 Mg

I am a 77 year old male taking 5 mg Eliquis a.m. and p.m. to prevent stroke due to atrial fibrillation. Yesterday I went for a routine exam and my GP said my stool showed positive for blood in stool. I have scheduled a colonoscopy but fear the blood relates to Eliquis rather than a bowel problem. Are there non-invasive CT scans or tests which can be performed to locate the bleeding? I have a message out to my University of Chicago cardiologist regarding this issue as well.
