Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 79-year-old male who is a perfectly fit job till about six months ago. I don't know exertional dyspnea and some chronic cough with small not a white speak. Pulmonary function studies reveal small airway obstruction disease. Advair 250 b.i.d. was partially effective. My cardiac stress test was abnormal a shirt and she brought some foreign a half minutes with him previously ever go 16 or 18 my right and left heart calf reveal very minimal coronary disease and normal valvular function my echo is normal I have a few nodes in my chest I have a left supraclavicular node mediastinal node small R peri hilar node all of them are hypermetabolic and but they're small it takes very little to make me shorter breath at this point. I can still do 5 mileson an AIRDYNE but not at the same speed it takes 22 minutes instead of 17. CBC smac lipids mg & lytes all NL. We'll see pulmonary Doc Monday afternoon and I presume bronchoscopy biopsy and maybe a biopsy of the left supraclavicular lymph node . Very frustrating for someone who's been exceptionally strong athletic jock for years and never smoked .
