I Am A Pilates Trainer With A Client Who Routinely

I am a Pilates trainer with a client who routinely experiences what I perceive to be spams of the diaphragm when she performs movements that are difficult for her or would be beneficial to her postural deviations from ideal. She is a cigarette smoker and from the little I have gleaned from her personal life, likely smokes marijuana and definitely enjoys martini's. Sometimes, these spasms happen in multiples and she has to stop to gain control of her body. I have tried to find information about this, but so far have not found anything truly enlightening for her particular situation. I've talked to her about it and she says 'it's just the way I am' and I'd rather not lecture her and blame it all on smoking. Have you heard of such a thing?
