I Am A VA Provider Working With A Veteran Who

I am a VA provider working with a Veteran who at 65 is on polypharmacy--- today I asked her to bring in her meds. I am a psychiatric provider who is switching her from Neurontin to pregablin because of dizziness and falls, but I have just learned by looking at her bag oif medicines that she is on 80mg of Zocor.... with the possibility of muscle impairment, could this also be contributing and if I decide to lower the dose to 40mg will there be any problems doing that
