I Am A A 66 Yrs.old And Consider Myself To

I am a a 66 yrs.old and consider myself to be quite healthy and active.
In 1990 I had a ruptured ovarian cyst . I was hospitalized 3 days for I eternal bleeding. Hemorrhaging stopped and I was discharged. One yr. Later my R ovary was removed. I was experiencing So.e discomfort and an elevated CA 125. After surgery tests were benign.

I now have a cyst on my L ovary. It has been monitored with ultrasounds every 6months for the past 4 years. Presently, my ca125 is a 9. Because the cyst has grown a little larger and is complex, and factoring in my age etc. I have been advised to remove my ovary.

Question: how much is this ovary producing necessary hormones for my age?
Should Il decided on an ooophrectomy is HRT to e considered?

Thank you
