I Am A Chronic Pain Patient. My Doctor Put Me

I am a chronic pain patient. My doctor put me on fentanyl 25 mg patches. I am to replace patch every 72 hours but before the 72 hours are up, I am in pain again! Am I doing something wrong? I have been on oxycotin 60mg and have been slowly taken down to this. I understand the so called "opiate" crisis but I have never used street drugs! I use my meds. per doctors order.
