I am a diabetic and I have Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) Liver Cirrhosis. My test result say that my liver enzymes are only slightly elevated. However, i have had 3 episodes of esophageal varices. The first time two years ago they placed one band, the 2nd, a year ago, two bands, the 3rd, 6 weeks ago, 4 bands and yesterday 6 bands. Yesterday, was a follow up from my EV #3 and i am scheduled to go back in three weeks to be scoped again. So, should i be getting my affairs in order, or advocating for more progressive treatment?
