I Am A Diabetic From 15 Yrs. But Well Withincontrol.

I am a diabetic from 15 yrs. But well withincontrol. FBS in the range of 110-130 and PPBS 14-156. I had a angioplasty with one stunt 3 yrs back. I was riligiously taking -1.JUNAMET 50/500 DAILY 1 TAB 2.ENVAs 5 mg i tab.3.TONACT 10mg 1 tab 4. CLOPILET 150 mg 1 tab.
Now after annual check up doctors have told that my health condition has improved and my medicine is chaged to: 1.1.ISTAMET 50/500 daily 1 tab and 2.RAMITORVA CAP.
PL INFORM ME HOW ISTAMET 50/500 IS BETTER OVER JANUMET AND DOES IT HAS ANY SIDE EFFECTS. ALSO OUT OF THESE TWO WHICH ONE HELPS TO CONTROL BP AND CHOLESTEROL?- THANKS -SURESH K
