I Am A Female 27 Not Pregnant Never Have Been

I am a female 27 not pregnant never have been always had painful periods and cramps sharp ripping pains throughout my cycle which finished last friday I always put down to ovulation as I was told nothing was wrong i have started getting crampas on the last day/s of my period and now am in quite a lot of pain mainly on the left side and it like there is slight swelling above my hip bone area.
