I Am A Female, 80 Years Old. For Several Years

I am a female, 80 years old. For several years I have had extreme itching in my ears. For the past two years my eye exams show extreme loss of sight in my right eye but the doctors say everything looks normal. They are at a loss as to what is causing my loss of sight. Could there be a neurologic connection between my eye problem and my ear problem?
