I Am A Female Age 55. I Have Stage 4

I am a female age 55. I have stage 4 COPD.I am on oxygen at home. I use it off and on that is what I was told I could. The last 2 weeks I take it off and my sats fall down to between 82 and 84. I of course put it back on. Should I see my doctor about this or just use my oxygen 24/7?
