I Am A Gay, 19 Year Old Male And I

I am a gay, 19 year old male and I just recently discovered I have a hemorrhoid. My boyfriend and I waited 10 days to see if it would get better, and it did for a few days but once we had sex again it was painful. How long do I need to give my butt a rest and what would you suggest that I do to get it fixed fast and soon? Any ideas on how to avoid this in the future?
