I Am A Healthy 27 Yr Old Female With No

I am a healthy 27 yr old female with no past Medica history. For the past week I have been experiencing a 6/10 intermittent stabbing pain in the lateral calve. It is not associated with any warmth or swelling and no known injury. My pulses, reflexes and sensation are all normal. The pain can last for a few minutes to several hours and had not responded to OTC NSAIDs. Heat dulls the pain but only with direct contact. The minute the heat is removed the pain returns full force. At this point it is progressively getting worse and not responding to rest, NSAIDs, elevation and an Ace wrap, do you have any idea what could be the cause. If I go to the ER they are going to say nothing is wrong but the pain is interfering with daily activities and sleep.
