I am a healthy 40 year old woman. I am sexually active. I am not on birth control and haven’t been for over a year and a half. I have clockwork 25 day cycles with a day of spotting then 3 days of period. My last period came on the 16th day of my cycle and was exactly like my normal periods. Then 10 days after the first day of that period I spotted once (only noticed it after using the restroom one time). I had been taking Maca for just over a month when this occurred. I quit taking it after it happened. Could the Maca be responsible for my early period?
