I am a lady agedabout 55 years. I take antidiabetic medicines Metformin 1000mg. and Gliperamide 2mg. daily along with antihypertensive drugs Amlodipine 5 mg. and hydrochlorthiazide 25 mg.
For some years I noticed that I am suffering from fungal infection in my hip area and around the thighs mostly. The infection increases in summer when I sweat more. I used clotrimazole dusting powder and cream but those give me symptomatic relief. Using Fluconazole 150mg. Tab./Week gives me relief but discontinuation of it causes recurrence of infection. I noticed a permanent sign of patch in my hip skin area. What should I do?
