I Am A Long Term Steroid User Due To Hypothalamic

I am a long term Steroid user due to Hypothalamic Failure, don't know if it is related, but I have chronic itching that seems to have no obvious cause. Always on my upper arms, shoulders and neck/chest area. I try not to scratch but sometimes the itch drives me nuts such that I do scratch. Then I have created scratch marks, and open sores. Not horrendous, but very annoying!! The itch comes and goes, but mostly stays, and seems to migrate a bit around the areas mentioned and sometimes includes all areas! I would prefer to stay away from prescription drugs or antihistamines if possible. Thank you for your time!
