I Am A Painting Contractor. I Had Been Stretching High

I am a painting contractor. I had been stretching high at work and under alot of stress. I seemed to have developed a sore/pain on my left side of neck,,,nothing on the right,,about the middle between the head and shoulder. I have had this for a week. I have used moist heating pad on it, taking ibuprofen,,started taking lyrica today. I am thinking i over exerted my muscle/nerves in neck area plus the added stress of this job is contributing to my problem.. Any suggestions???? Thanks, Gary Lehman
