I am a pediatric speech pathologist working with the Birth-3yr population. I treated a 2 year old (oral motor treatment as well as speech therapy) this morning and was told she was diagnosed with hand foot mouth virus this afternoon. Was is best practice for me in terms of my own health, but moreso for the children on my caseload for the next week?
