I am a pharmacist. I recently had shoulder surgery. My long term disability claim is being denied because my surgeon states my shoulder can handle the activities involved with my job. He is right. However, I am on Nucynta, methocarbamol, and gabapentin for subsequent shoulder/nerve pain. I feel trapped because if I go to work on these medications and make a mistake than I would be liable. What is your take?
